(VIDEO) Talent Recap: 2015 Eastern Spring Showcase


The Kohl's Kicking Camp's Eastern Spring Showcase in the New York/New Jersey area brought out some of the region's top kickers, punters and snappers to this ranking event. The following athletes stood out amongst the field of athletes.

Class of 2016 kicker/punter Tavish Rice won the kickoff competition and topped the kickoff charts. He also made 7 out of 10 field goals and showed improved consistency from this past winter.

Kicker Jake Roth in the Class of 2016 won the field goal competition and made 7 out of 10 charted field goals throughout the event. Roth finished 5th on kickoffs and was one of the most outstanding prospects over at camp.

2016 Punter Derek Adams won the punt competition, placed third in the punt charting phase, and made 7 out of 10 field goals having an all-around outstanding day.

Class of 2016 punter Will Hart from Ohio finished second in the morning punt charts and showed an improvement in consistency and overall ability to hit punts needed throughout the event.

Jake Bovard topped the punt charts. The 2016 product showed consistency in hangtime and distance throughout the event.

Class of 2017 kicker Justin Davidovicz finished second in the kickoff charts and showed an outstanding ability to create leg speed.

Evan Lingafelt and Briant DeFelice also showed strong legs by rounding out the top 5 in the kickoff charts.

Randy Alay, in the Class of 2016 made 8 out of 10 field goals and had a solid day in the drill work phase.

James Carolan, a 2016 snapper from Arizona won the overall snapping charts, and Nick Zecchino a 2016 snapper from New Jersey finished second in the snapping charts but won the snap competition held at the end of camp.
