No.4 Ranked Punter Showcases Kicking Abilities With Winning Field Goal
As the No.4 ranked punter in the nation, Class of 2018 prospect Mason Lawler has mostly gained credibility because of his punting ability, but last Saturday he proved to be an asset in another phase of the game.
With nine seconds left, Lawler booted through a game-winning field goal to lift his team to a 24-21 victory.
At the Kohl's National Scholarship Camp this past summer, Lawler proved his leg strength with multiple punts over 50 yards in distance. The punter has a great chance to use his leg strength to play at the college level.
