Hilborn Earns National Player of the Week With 3 Field Goals

Class of 2017 kicker Foster Hilborn has earned Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week honors following a three field goal game. Not only did he make three field goals from 49, 40, and 33 yards in his team's win, but he added a recovered onside kick, 5 extra points and booted 3 touchbacks while kicking off.

"We just had to get our stuff going and get headed in the right direction, Thank goodness we did. The kicking game was excellent for us today. It got us out of a hole and put nine points on the board. That was big, too," La Porte head coach Jeff La Reau said to the Chron.

On the Kohl's camp scene, Hilborn last competed at the Kohl's National Scholarship Camp and the Texas Spring Showcase. Hilborn shows a great "A" ball, and his season is showing his growth in consistency.
